The UConn Stamford Tutoring Center houses the Writing Center and Q Course Center and is located in the back right corner on the first floor of the Library.  Tutoring services include Writing, Chemistry, Physics, Math, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, and Biology.  See below for the Spring 2023 schedule!

Writing Tutoring

UConn Stamford’s Writing Center is staffed by experienced peer tutors who can help students with their writing assignments at any stage of the process, from brainstorming to final revisions. The Writing Center is located within the UConn Stamford Tutoring Center in the rear of the Library.

Stamford students may also utilize the Storrs Writing Center virtual options through this website: https://writingcenter.uconn.edu/

Monday: 12:30PM-6PM
Tuesday: 9AM-6PM
Wednesday: 9AM-5PM
Thursday: 9AM-6PM (break at 2PM)

Biology Tutoring

This semester we are happy to offer Biology tutoring in-person!

Q Tutoring

Q Tutoring: This includes free tutoring in the following areas: Chemistry, Math, Statistics, and Physics. Tutoring is free to all UConn-Stamford students on a drop-in basis to accommodate as many people as possible. Students should bring textbooks, notes, class handouts, syllabi, and assignments to each tutoring session.
