Tutoring Center

The UConn Stamford Tutoring Center houses the Writing Center and Q Course Center and is located in the back right corner on the first floor of the Library.  Tutoring services include Writing, Chemistry, Physics, Math, Statistics, Psychology, Computer Science & Engineering, Accounting, Finance, and Biology courses.   There are also virtual options for some subjects. Tutoring is free to all students and open Monday-Friday.  *Hours subject to change based on tutor availability.*

New this year! CSE tutoring will be available in-person Sunday-Thursday from 7pm-10pm.  Location TBD.

Writing Tutoring

UConn Stamford’s Writing Center is staffed by experienced peer tutors who can help students with their writing assignments at any stage of the process, from brainstorming to final revisions. The Writing Center is located within the UConn Stamford Tutoring Center in the rear of the Library.

Q Tutoring: This includes free tutoring in the following areas: Chemistry, Math, Statistics, and Physics. Tutoring is free to all UConn-Stamford students on a drop-in basis to accommodate as many people as possible. Students should bring textbooks, notes, class handouts, syllabi, and assignments to each tutoring session.
