Do you know when your enrollment appointment is?

Each student is assigned a day and time where they can begin registering for courses for the following term. This is called your enrollment appointment.

Why is it important to know your enrollment appointment ahead of time? Classes fill up QUICKLY! The only way to guarantee your spot in a class is by enrolling in it - so knowing your enrollment appointment in advance can help you plan accordingly.

PRO TIP! Plan out the courses you’d like to take, and put them in your Student Admin shopping cart prior to your enrollment appointment. Then, set a reminder alert for your enrollment appointment so that you are ready to enroll right away.

Happy Registration everyone!

Now that midterm grades are actively coming out, it is important to keep an eye out for any midterm warnings.

If your midterm grade for a course is a “C” or lower, you will be issued a midterm warning. This is to give you a heads up on how you are progressing in your course. Midterm warnings are valuable feedback, but we also understand that they can feel overwhelming. If you receive a midterm warning, you should:

- Talk to your Advisor: Your advisor can help you make informed academic decisions, as well as connecting you to other relevant campus resources

- Talk to your Instructor: See if there are any opportunities for extra credit, or other ways to bump up your grade

- Use resources like the Tutoring Center, Mental Health Resource Center, and Academic Achievement Center

- Consider placing the course on Pass/Fail or Withdrawing from the course: If you are concerned about your GPA being impacted by the final grade, these options are available. It will be important to talk with your advisor first if you are considering any of these options to ensure you meet any deadlines
